From 2000 to 2021, MacIsaac was associated with the Blackhawks. Earlier, he had also worked as Senior Director of Hockey Administration/Assistant to the President.
Recently, MacIsaac got more into the spotlight after he left his job as part of a management purge related to the investigation into sexual abuse claims.
Moreover, he was part of the Blackhawks front office since 2000 and won three Stanley Cups with the organization.

The video coach, Brad Aldrich, allegedly sexually assaulted a former Blackhawks player and the analysis showed MacIsaac was part of a meeting of team spokesperson that knew about the proclamation.
On the other hand, the NHL has also announced the Blackhawks have been fined $2 million for insufficient policy and misdirecting of the incident.
