Emily is a professional runner for New Balance in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 9th at the 2017 London IAAF World Outdoor Track and Field Championships for 10,000 meters.

She won the USATF road 10k Championships in 2016 and 5k in 2018.

Emily’s first try at the distance, she placed 6th in the 2019 London Marathon.
