Annamalai K is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer who served as the Superintendent of Police of Cuddalore district in Tamil Nadu. He is known for his bold and innovative approach to policing, and for his commitment to community service. He resigned from the IPS in 2021 to join politics, and was elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Aravakurichi constituency in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
