It was the daughter of Sunny who informed the world about her dad’s recovery. She shared the news on her Instagram account the other day. And, she disclosed that Sunny said a few words right after he came out of his coma. And, now, he has been admitted for therapy. In this way, this pro surfer has beaten the odds and survived the battle of death. Hence, we hope that he has a speedy recovery. And, we wish it won’t be long until he gets back on his feet, stronger than ever.

Sunny Garcia made a suicide attempt a few months earlier in April this year. Although he was aware of his mental illness, the demons in his head almost got the best of him. Likewise, he shared his struggles about depression and mental health prior to his suicide attempt. However, now, he has survived the coma. So, we wish that he recovers speedily.
