Scott McLean is a Canadian International Correspondent for CNN, based in the network’s London bureau, he moved to London in the year 2019 after more than two years as a National Correspondent in CNN’s Denver bureau. Prior to that, Scott was a Washington-based Correspondent for CNN Newsource.

Since joining CNN, Scott has covered a wide range of stories including the 2016 Presidential Election and inauguration of President Trump, the years 2016 Democratic National Convention, the Pulse nightclub shooting, the Las Vegas shooting in the year 2017, and hurricanes Matthew, Harvey, Florence, and Michael.

Scott covered the year 2016 magnitude 6.2 earthquakes that struck central Italy, President Obama’s historic trip to Cuba as well as the death of former Cuban leader Fidel Castro a few months later.
