Kevin Paffrath, popularly known as Meet Kevin, is an American YouTuber, landlord, and real estate broker. He was born on January 28, 1992.
Paffrath was referred to as a "landlord influencer" by Curbed in 2019. He ran as a Democrat to succeed Gavin Newsom in the failed recall election for governor of California in 2021 and attended the University of California, Los Angeles after Ventura College. He majored in political science, economics, and accounting at UCLA.
In 2010, The YouTuber obtained his real estate license; the following year, he and his future wife bought and renovated a foreclosed home. Later, they started remodeling other houses and rented them out.
Through their real estate company, The Paffrath Organization, Kevin and his wife Lauren purchase, restore, and lease homes throughout southern California.

Is Meet Kevin Arrested Over DUI?
Meet Kevin, a well-known American Youtuber, landlord, and real estate agent arrested in Florida for suspicion of DUI.
The alleged incident was conducted in the same month that Meet Kevin was in Florida for the majority of May. However, reports of his detention surfaced between July 9 and July 11. The legal problems that Kevin has encountered are not new.
Ramsey Solutions, a media outlet controlled by financial expert Dave Ramsey, sued Meet Kevin in 2018. He claimed contract violations, the theft of trade secrets, and defamatory remarks.
Meet Ramsey, and his business tactics have been criticized in videos made by Kevin. Kevin stated in a video titled "Dave Ramsey: Exposed" that Ramsey's company delivered "cold-as-ice leads" for real estate sales and earned money by "doing nothing."
Kevin said that he thought he did not break a contract since he had cut ties with Ramsey Solutions before creating the films. He further argued that the action was an effort at censorship against his free speech rights.
In 2019, the matter was transferred to federal court, and later that year, it reached a confidential out-of-court settlement. The videos for Kevin listed in the lawsuit are no longer available on YouTube.

The accusations brought against Kevin were trespassing and unruly behavior, although these charges were eventually dropped. He expressed sorrow for the "YouTube prank" and claimed he had gotten "carried away with the entertainment part of YouTube" in a May 2021 interview with KTXL about his gubernatorial campaign.
