Eure (born August 17, 1951) is a well-known actor, musician, author, producer, director, and fundraiser for charities. He also lectures on many topics. He is most known for his role as Michael Horton on the American soap opera Days of Our Lives, which he played from 1974 until 1981. During that time, he also appeared on the famous children’s television series Land of the Lost, which he also starred in. Later, in 1987 and 1988, he hosted the famous children’s game programme Finders Keepers, and in 1999, he co-created the children’s educational television show Dragon Tales, which was shown on PBS. In the following years, he wrote numerous books (both for children and for adults), staged plays, and collected money for HIV/AIDS and other charitable organisations.
