Emily Smith Biography
Emily Smith is an American journalist who was born and brought up in Grand Island, New York, United States of America. Currently, she works at WCBS-TV CBS News in New York City, New York, as a reporter. She has covered a wide range of stories, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 presidential election, and the war in Ukraine. She has also reported on social justice issues such as the Black Lives Matter movement.
Previously, before joining CBS News, Smith worked as an editor of Page Six of New York Post Media Group. She covered the news about the miraculous landing of Flight 1549 on the Hudson River in early 2009. She worked as a reporter for WABC-TV in New York City.
