His Stepfather Gary
Gary was born on July 26, 1974, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was dubbed the Funniest Serviceman in America, and he received his big break in 1997 on the comedy program Comic View on Black Entertainment Television. He had his own TV program, The Gary Owen Show, on the BET channel in 2016. He was in a number of films, including Daddy Day Care, Think Like A Man, Rebound, Funny Business, and others.
He served in the United States Navy for six years before embarking on a successful career in stand-up comedy. He received several honors for his outstanding comedy and wit. He was the first and only white guy to present Comic View. He gained a sizable African-American fan following.
