Dr. Dre Parents

Theodore Young and Verna Young, Dr. Dre’s parents, both played roles in his life. Theodore was a vocalist in the Romells, an amateur R&B group.

Verna, a vocalist too, left her group, the Four Aces, shortly before Dre’s birth. Dre’s parents split when he was three and divorced at seven.
