She plays the role of Addison Augustine, a brilliant scientist who helps Dr. Sam Beckett on his time-traveling adventures.

Basset previously served in the United States Army and served as an intelligence analyst for seven years. During her time in the military, she completed three combat deployments, two of which were to Afghanistan.
