Alexander Zverev vs Daniil Medvedev: Preview

Alexander Zverev has cruised into the finals defeating World No.2, Rafael Nadal 6-4, 7-5 in the semi-finals. He has won two back to back titles at Cologne 1 and Cologne 2. So far in the tournament, the German has only dropped one set against Adrian Mannarino.

Daniil Medvedev began his campaign with a walkover against Kevin Anderson. He clinched the three-setter win against Alex De Minaur in the second round. Medvedev won all matches in two sets, including a semi-final win. He defeated Milos Raonic in the semis 6-2, 6-4 to secure a place in the finals.
