Anne Finucane Biography

Anne Finucane (b. 12 July 1952) is an American banker who currently serves as the vice-chair of Bank of America in charge of the bank’s environmental, social and corporate governance committee. She joined Bank of America in 1995 and also serves on boards of several organizations. She currently lives in Lincoln, MA with her husband Mike Barnicle.

Anne leads the Bank of America’s environmental, social and corporate governance committee. She joined Fleet Financial in 1995. Fleet later merged with the short-lived BankBoston to become part of Bank of America. Following the completion of her studies at the University of New Hampshire, Anne Finucane worked in the mayor’s arts office.

She has been on the boards of The American Ireland Fund, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Carnegie Hall, CVS Health the International Center for Journalists, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Boston Public Library Foundation and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, Partners HealthCare, and the Special Olympics. Besides, Anne Finucane is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has been president of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum.
